What has your career path looked like?: I started my career in the retail sector moving through various positions from management to HR. Learning that I love the field of HR, I continued on however moving into the banking industry. I found myself in the learning and development aspect of the HR field in the banking industry on-boarding and teaching new hires from tellers to licensed bankers. Seeing the excitement of new hires starting a new chapter in their careers are what inspired me to land in the Talent Acquisition space.

What has your career path looked like?: After college, I started my career in sales doing outbound telemarketing. Through this experience, I realized that I wasn’t passionate about product-based selling. I took a leap of faith and started a new position recruiting IT professionals for a staffing company. My position in staffing jump started my recruiting career and played an instrumental role my successful transition into Corporate Recruiting. As a Corporate Recruiter in Talent Acquisition, I have had the privilege of learning/recruiting within a wide variety of skill sets – including entry level nursing support, Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Nurses, Interns, Sales/Marketing and Compliance.

What has your career path looked like?: I began with the company in October of 2005 as a Customer Care Advocate. During my 2 years in Customer Care I became a Senior Advocate, I handled calls for our Dedicated Service Units and so much more in between. An opportunity of becoming a Trainer for Customer Care in the Learning and Performance department opened up and I was granted the wonderful opportunity to train New Hires, Internal Employees in Customer Care as well as Internal Employees for other departments. I even spent time going out to our External Groups and training their staff on our systems and knowledge of our business and products. After 8 years in the Learning and Performance Department I then became a Supervisor for 4 years in the Call Center. During my time as Supervisor I lead a team of advocates who handled our Commercial and Dedicated lines of business while also handling our Social Media Inquiries. In 2019 I joined the Talent Acquisition team and it really has come full circle as I recruit for all of our external Customer Care entry level positions.

Why work here?: Personally for me I’ve been with the company and stayed with the company all based on the experience I’ve had. Since day one I have felt as if I am part of a team, but even more so a FAMILY. No matter where my path has taken me, my management has always been supportive of my growth and pointed out opportunities for me even when I didn’t even know it would be the right fit for me. I cannot thank all of the people that have helped guide and foster my development here at the company. I also am proud to work for a company whose management truly follows through with their commitment to their employees with everything from Employee Development Plans to keeping us safe during this pandemic, I can truly say I have always and still continue looking forward to coming to work here every day.
